Our PRO platen system is design to be used with our contact platen. The PRO system allows you to switch between plate configurations quickly and keeps your platen cool. Quickly switch between flat, glass, or radius platens without having to change over tooling!
In-house testing has proven that a standard metal platen will reach temperatures of +180 F . With water cooling the system will stay at a cool 80-90F temperature. Running at the lower platen temperatures your belts lasting longer while grinding, avoid burns, and help with high finish grits to keep your blade cooler.
